Shanghai North Optics offers standard and custom high power mirrors. Our high power mirrors consist of dielectric coatings deposited on UV-fused silica mirror substrates. The dielectric coatings of North Optics’s high power laser mirrors feature a high laser induced damage threshold of >20J/cm2@1064nm, 10ns, 10Hz pulses, designed to endure high laser energies. The damage thresholds of the dielectric coatings are rigorously inspected. The high-power mirror also features excellent reflectivities at the critical wavelengths (at the designed AOIs and polarization).
The durable substrates of our high power mirrors are manufactured using UV Fused Silica (Corning 7980), this optical glass material, when selected as an high power mirror substrate, excels with low thermal expansion and superior damage threshold (You can click here to view a detailed introduction to optical substrate materials). This makes our high power mirror mechanically robust and thermally stable.
